Thanks to everybody that attended today’s Energy Bill Advice session organised by National Energy Action (NEA). NEA was set up to ensure that everyone can afford to live in a warm, dry home. In partnership with central and local government, fuel utilities, housing providers, consumer groups and voluntary organisations, they undertake a range of activities to address the causes and treat the symptoms of fuel poverty. If you missed the session but would like to find out more then why not take a look at their website using the following link – https://www.nea.org.uk/
We’d also like to say congratulations to Mr Kaiwani who is very happy to have won a 3 tier food steamer after taking part in the session! 🙂

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that attended our Blooming Great Big Bash last week! In addition to our AGM, the event celebrated 5 years of yes. 3 years of yes @ The Hive, and the official opening of yes @ Collyhurst by The Lord Mayor of The City of Manchester! The event was a great success and we’re already looking forward to the next one!
We would like to congratulate everyone that completed the new Jobskilla computer course at Collyhurst, that came to an end last week! It was a great success and the feedback that we received from those involved was incredible. The course was aimed at anyone looking to improve their IT skills, and gain the confidence and skills to get online. Participants that successfully completed the course received a nationally recognized I.T qualification and a free laptop of their own! We’re hoping to run the course again in the near future so please get in touch if you’d like to get involved.
