The positions are being advertised on behalf of 51-year old woman living in Blackley, Manchester with a good sense of humour, who is also fun loving and caring.
The employer requires 2-1 care, 7 days a week and employs people to take care of her in her own home. The work is governed by NHS Continuing Health Care.
The role will include assisting the employer with every day life, which includes a manual wheelchair, a standing /ceiling hoist for transfers and a wheelchair accessible van. A confident driver is desirable.
Personal care, social needs and daily household tasks are also included while the employer frequently enjoys getting out and about, so flexibility is desired with successful applicants being fun, outgoing, motivated, reliable, respectful of the employer's home. They must also have a love of animals.
The employer is also interested in taking on bank staff to fill in for sickness/holidays, and also for people who aren't able to commit to regular shifts.
Shifts are flexible to your availability and organised between all assistants on a month-by-month basis.
Experience is not essential but a good understanding of person centred care, personal /professional boundaries and code of conduct is important to have. Training is something that is always offered, ongoing and updated to the team.
